True. I won't pretend to have fallen victim to some of these behavior tendencies myself in certain contexts. And off late , thanks to the study of psychology and philosophy, have also began to realize that lot of this behavior is deeply rooted in our evolutionary , survival centric brains (something we can call basic instincts).

We as a society may need to include some training for ourselves so that we learn to spot the instances when we are falling into a fanatical behavior trait and question the validity of our own assumptions causing such behavior.

It's odd that we include a driving license test for the privilege of navigating a metal box on the roads, but no such license requirement exists to permit humans to navigate a much more destructive tool (the brain) around the social world.
